The Deer’s Head was founded by Wine & Spirit Merchant, John Donnelly, in 1885. At that time, there were 12 pubs and 4 spirit dealers operating on this street. Today, only one of the original pubs remain, The Deer’s Head. They are the first historic pub in Belfast to be brought back to its original name following a significant refurbishment and installation of an on site Brewery “Bells Brewery”. As part of the refurbishment they needed a local partner to design, install, commission and service the Fire & Security in this busy City Centre Bar.
